"The site is located within an established mature residential suburb and comprises of a derelict site and building in contrast to the well maintained surrounding properties within this area of Selly Oak.
"The building is itself in poor condition and considered uneconomic to reinstate having lain empty for a number of years.
"The property deserves some TLC & will provide valuable needed homes for Birmingham."
